Sequel Reports

Below you you can find examples of the reports supplied with a new installation of SDS Sequel. We’ve provided some requirements for each along with the report file for use in the application.

Development

Contractor Performance Report

This report is designed to provide information about the organisations being used in your development programme. It displays one page per organisation and lists all the projects they are associated with.

Totals are provided for each status and for the programme as a whole.

Development Report

This report is a more detailed view of your development programme, groupedby project status.
It summarises all key dates, unit numbers, a comparison of budget vs latestestimate for all categories (e.g. acq, works, etc.) and out-turn loan and NPV. Totals are provided for each status and for the programme as a whole.

Development Pipeline Report

This report presents a hierarchical view of all the projects, grouped by tenure and then by funding year, with overall totals for the programme.It covers simple project information, unit numbers. key dates, and headline costs and income.

Property Handover Form

Project information Report

This report presents an overview of a project, together with an accommodation schedule and various key financial outputs.Development timings and some performance statistics are included, as well as the project summary.

Programme Monitoring Report

This is a list of all projects and their cashflows, and all key dates. This is a more detailed version of the Projects Summary Report.

Project Summary Report

This is a list of all projects and their cashflows, scheme codes and revised start on site and practical completion dates.

Workflow Task Notes Report

This is a simple hierarchical view of all projects, their workflows, and the tasks in those workflows. In addition, the planned start and finish dates are shown, together with any notes the user has added.

Finance

Cost To Completion Report

A flat list of all cashflows that shows total units and key dates. It also has a detailed analysis of income, costs, loan requirement, and their variances.

Cost Time Overrun Report

This is a simplified version of the Cost to Completion report. It contains information about the project, total scheme costs and variance, and practical completion dates and variance.

Development Scheme Forecast Report

This report presents each cashflow grouped by project status. It includes unit details, together with the current financial year’s cashflow, and analysis of spend in the year.

Quarterly CPT Report

This report analyses the information entered in the CPT section of the Cashflow Manager.

The two types of information are grant drawdown and unit completions. For each of these, the report will display the agreed HCA target together with the forecast/actual information underneath.

This is grouped by financial quarter and displayed over five years.

Summary CPT Report

This report provides another view of the CPT information in the Cashflow Manager.

The information is grouped by HCA region and includes more information about the project, actual spend, key dates in the cashflow, and the original unit analysis from the appraisal.

Each cashflow/allocation is presented on a single line.

Three Year Cashflow (Hierarchical) Report

This report is intended to reproduce the same information seen in the Cashflow Manager.

It can be grouped/summarised to different detail levels, for example, by account code, by code category, by cashflow, or by project. The information is presented over the current financial year plus two years ahead.

Three Year Cashflow (Flat) Report

This report is intended to reproduce the same information seen in the Cashflow Manager.

Unlike the hierarchical version, this report outputs all cashflow data at the most detailed level possible, and is not grouped. This means it is easy to take the information and use it in Excel for pivoting, for example. The information is presented over the current financial year plus two years ahead.

Sales

Sales and Marketing Report

This report groups all properties together by project. It focuses on the timescales between key dates, such as marketing, exchange and completion.

It provides information about the sales period, units left to complete, and variations between target and actual sales totals.

As units handover they are automatically removed from the report.

Sales Pipeline Report

This report focuses only on shared ownership and outright sale units.

As well as totals of each per project, this report shows where in the sales pipeline each unit. For example, whether it is being constructed, is unsold, reserved, exchanged or sold.

It also shows the age of completed, unreserved stock and the value of unreserved stock.

Exception

Appraisal File Validation Report

This is an exception report that is designed to highlight when appraisals that have been imported into Sequel are out of date.

It will group the appraisals by one of three statuses: appraisal exists but is out of date; appraisal no longer exists in original location; appraisal exists and is up to date.

This report can also be run from Global Properties/Appraisal/Appraisal File Validation.

Sales Prices Validation Report

This is an exception report that is designed to highlight when the sales totals in the cashflow no longer match those specified in the property section.

The latest estimate is compared against target sales and actual sales figures.
