Christian Action was founded in 1966 as a local, church-based response to the need for affordable housing for rent. Today they manage over 1,550 dwellings, providing a range of housing and services in North London.

Christian Action wanted an appraisal tool which would be more flexible, comprehensive and accurate than the spread sheets they had used when all their properties were rented. This was important with the greater demands of new mixed tenure and the rent cut, which will mean more and more cross-subsidy on schemes.
